First of all, I have a couple of recent Ebay purchases to share. I have long been an admirer of the 'Fables by Barrie' range of swimsuits but unfortunately they always seem to be out of my price range. Imagine my delight, then, when I found this swimsuit on Ebay for a starting price of £12! And now it's all mine...
Whilst watching the swimsuit, I was also trawling the wares of my favourite Ebay seller, Bear Flag Republic. My eye was caught by this cute top by a new brand (or so I thought) called 'Beach Bash'. Again, another item I am wildly imagining myself prancing around New England in this summer...
After looking in more detail into this 'Beach Bash' range, I discovered that it is a spin-off range of Bettie Page clothing, described as 'Retro Cheesecake Beach Wear'. Have a look at some of the other delights they have to offer:
Rainbow Romper Suit
Violetta playsuit with detachable skirt
Nautical Yacht Skirt
Dot Me Dress
Hug on the Beach Dress
Ahoy Playsuit
My favourite so far has to be the 'Hug on the Beach' dress. However, after a few unnecessary purchases over the past few days, I think I may have to wait until next month...
I hope everyone is having a great Sunday!

Great swimsuit! And I think, if I was to take my pick of one of the Beach Bash items, I'd go for the rainbow romper suit... After some slimming work on my thighs, that is!
ReplyDeleteThat bathing suit is too cute!!! I'm going to have to check out that site.
ReplyDeletegreat buys! And I am now incredibly envious of your America trip! x
ReplyDeleteOH don't be, Lina, it's costing us too much! The Olympics has driven all the flights out of London upwards, and so we've had to fly out on 19th August because it's cheapest, which is cutting our trip down to just under 2 weeks :( We have friends near Boston, so we were hoping for 3 weeks, but now it's 2 days in New York (EEEK!) and 11 in New England.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I'm looking forward to trying my hand at Vintage shopping NY style! :)
I've had exactly the same problem as you with getting flights out of London! It's such a pain! I foolishly thought that it would be cheaper to fly out during the Olympics because everyone would be flying in and they'd be keen to fill the outbound planes quickly so they could turn around and bring more people in... Nope! I've had to shift some holidays back too but I've managed to pinch the lost days back at the other end, fortunately
DeleteYou'll just have to not sleep when you're in New York so that you can still make the most of it!
Love the blouse in the first Beach Bash snap. Congrats on such a bargain with the swimwear x
ReplyDeleteAh, such lovely finds!! It's making me eager for summer; as I'm still hunting for my own perfect swimsuit, I'll have to check Beach Bash out!!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely trip to New England! That's my home turf; such a beautiful place in the summer, I just know you'll have an amazing time.
You sure will stand out on the beach this year! and for all of the right reasons:) nice swim suit. YAY! I am so looking forward to sewing heaps of garments for summer!
